    From both levels of this home you can view the Coquille River and the lighthouse built in 1896 as well as the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy sunrises, sunsets and exciting storms from the living room by the gas fireplace or from the banks of the river in the backyard. Five bedrooms with enough beds to sleep at least 17. Two baths including a Jacuzzi tub with a gorgeous view of the river. The large living and dining room provide lots of space for gatherings of family and friends, and a fully stocked kitchen welcomes cooks of all levels.

    Already located in Old Town Bandon, enjoy easy strolls through shops, galleries and restaurants. Seeking the water? Walk west to Bandon South Jetty County Park and explore miles of amazing beaches. Common wildlife sightings right from the River House include many species of seabirds, eagles, seals and even whales have been spotted exploring up the river. At the nearby harbor you might enjoy activities such as crabbing and fishing.

    The River House was listed on the national historic registry in 1992, and remains the oldest commercial structure in the town of Bandon, OR. It was built in 1905 by cobbler Michael Breuer who housed his retail outlet for ''boots, shoes and gents furnishings'' in what was then known as the Breuer Building.
