Come, join SEA (Shoreline Education for Awareness, Inc.) for the Annual Puffin Party celebration at beautiful Face Rock Wayside. We've survived the 2-plus-year pandemic shutdown and want to party!
SEA Volunteers will be at Face Rock on May 28th from 10am to noon.
This event is an excellent opportunity for children and adults alike to see Tufted Puffins and a variety of seabirds up close. SEA’s spotting scopes will be zoomed in on the Puffin burrows hoping to see the pair(s) building nests and displaying their mating colors. What a treat to see the feathery flapping footballs!
Other seabirds can be seen too: Common Murres, Cormorants, Black Oyster Catchers, Surf Scoters, and possibly a Peregrine Falcon.
