Tour de Fronds was voted #1 Best Supported Bike Ride in Oregon for 2018. Tour de Fronds offers 5 beautiful rides on low traffic asphalt roads which range from 30 to 117 miles. Also available is an asphalt/gravel ride to the Rogue River with turn around at the Singing Springs Resort in Agness and loops back to Powers. There is something for the novice to the cycling enthusiast. All rides begin and end in Powers, OR. http://tourdefronds.com This event, sponsored by the Powers lions Club, provides support for cyclists as they enjoy a day cycling through the Siskiyou National Forest and along the South Fork of the Coquille River. It makes use of Oregon’s premier Glendale/Powers Bicycle Recreation Area, a project of USDA Forest Service and BLM. The Tour de Fronds, so aptly named, is a nature lover’s ideal ride. It is a great opportunity to revel in one of the most complex botanical and geologic areas in the Pacific Northwest.
